Shelburne Room at the Dowds' Country Inn
The Shelburne Room was originally the living room of the old farmhouse. It was where we held the Inn's first wedding ceremony, when the former owner was married at the age of 75. The room's name comes from the Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, VT.
It is decorated in country green with a fan stencil design from the museum. There are hand stitched square pattern quilts on the king and twin beds. This room has two comfortable sitting chairs and overlooks the Common. It is handicap accessible on the first floor.
The room comfortably sleeps three, has a private bath, seasonal heat and A/C, and wireless internet.
